Ramos, City Clerk <br />SUBJECT: Budget Adjustment Request for June 5, 1990 Date: May 29, 1990 <br />Consolidated Election <br />Background: <br />The City Council at its September 5, 1989 Meeting, appropriated $7,000 for the <br />November 6, 1989 County Consolidated Election on Measure "0" (Ordinance No. 0-9-89). <br />Statement of Problem: <br />The County Registrar of Voters has notified the City that the June 5, 1990 County <br />Consolidated Election on Measures "J" (Ordinance No. 0-19A-89), "K" and "L" will <br />cost the City $5,000. There is a balance of $2,800 remaining from the November 6, <br />1989 Election. An additional appropriation of $2,200 is required. <br />Alternatives: None <br />Financial Impact: <br />Decrease of $2,200 in the City Council Contingency Reserve. <br />Environmental Impact: None. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends a budget appropriation in the amount of $2,200 from the City Council <br />Contingency Reserve to complete funding of the June 5, 1990 Consolidated Election. <br />The Budget Adjustment Request is attached. <br />Attachments: 1 <br />ORIGINAL <br />FILENO- ------------------------------- <br />Page 1 of 1 Item No. / _ <br />
