Sotelo, City Manage <br />A4::�' Date: 1/31/91 <br />SUBJECT: <br />Water Utility Management Study <br />Background <br />The City Council directed that a comprehensive management study be conducted of the City's Water <br />Utility System. In complying to this mandate several contacts/inquiries were made to various water <br />agencies to determine a consultant to provide this report/service. <br />Sta, fj`''s efforts resulted with the identification of Bruce Cash, of Utility Consultants Inc., as qualified to <br />provide the report. Attached is the proposal submitted by Mr. Cash which includes the scope of work. <br />Statement of Problem <br />Authorization to conduct the study is required by the City Council. <br />Financial Impact <br />Utility Consultants, Inc. propose to complete the study for a total of $9,143.00. <br />St <br />Aff Recommendation <br />It is the recommendation of Staff that the City Council approve the proposal by Utility Consultants, Inc. <br />to complete a Water Utility Management Study. <br />EFS: rae <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of --- <br />Item No. a-9 <br />FILE NO. - <br />
