Hall, Fire Chie44 f� <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Adopting "Findings of Facts" Date: May 27, 1992 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Attached to this report is a Resolution for the City of <br />Colton to comply with the State of California requirements of <br />the Health and Safety Code Sections 17958, 17958.5 and <br />17958.7. <br />When a City, County or Fire District adopts an Ordinance or <br />Regulation which makes changes of modifications to State <br />adopted building standards, it is required by law to submit <br />"Finding of Facts" to the State. These modifications or <br />changes shall be based on local climatic, geological or <br />topographical conditions. <br />DISCUSSION• <br />A copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to the <br />State of California Department of Housing and Community <br />Development, Division of Codes and Standards. <br />RECOMMENDATION• <br />Staff recommends adoption of the Resolution titled: <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE "FINDING OF FACTS" AS REQUIRED BY <br />THE CALIFORNIA HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE SECTION 17958, 17958.5 <br />AND 17958.7 <br />Attachment: Resolution <br />CITY MANAGER'S CONCURRENCE: O , <br />CITY OF COLTON FIRE DEPARTMENT <br />Attachments: FIRE PREVENTION DIVISION <br />Page 1 of __ <br />Item No— <br />
