Hutton, Director of Public Works <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Annexations No. 50, 51, 52 and 53 into Date: March 9, 1992 <br />the City's Landscape Maintenance District <br />RA( -.K( -.R" INn <br />The Council has previously approved the formation of a Landscape Maintenance District. <br />Properties within certain Benefit Zones may be annexed into the District. <br />DISCUSSION: <br />Attached are the "Consent and Waiver to Annexation" from the owners of properties <br />within such a Benefit Zone. The property owners are requesting annexation into the <br />City's Landscape Maintenance District. Under the provisions of the Landscaping and <br />Lighting Act of 1972, a single property owner can request annexation into a Landscape <br />District, waiving any public hearings. <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />None <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />Areas within the District are maintained with fees collected by the County Tax <br />Collector. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recon -mends that Council approve Annexations No. 50, 51, 52 and 53 into the <br />City's Landscape Maintenance District. <br />/Ij <br />CITY MANAGER'S CONCURRENCE: <br />Attachments: <br />Page 1 of <br />Item No. / f <br />FILE NO _4 --- t, .................... <br />o� <br />
