CITY OF COLTON
AGENDA REPORT
For Council Meeting November 17, 1992
TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
FROM: JOHN C. HUTTON, DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORK 01
Date: 11/9/92
SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT No. 005 FOR FEDERAL AID
PROJECT, WASHINGTON AT HUNTS LANE AND RECHE CANYON ROAD
BACKGROUND
The Washington Avenue at Hunts Lane and Reche Canyon Road
reconstruction project is being financed by Federal transportation
funds through Cal -Trans, to the City of Colton and then the City
disburses payments to the contractor as the project progresses.
As a means to expedite payment in a timely fashion to the
contractor and provide the City with the capability to pass through
funds from the state with little or no delays, the attached local
agency/State agreement needs Council approval by form of
resolution.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The Washington Avenue reconstruction project is being financed by
Federal transportation funds in the amount of approximately
645,000.00.
Although the City of Colton budgeted 140,550.00 towards the project
as part of the traffic fee fund capital improvement program for
construction engineering and local construction cost the majority
of this expense can be recovered through reimbursement by the
F.A.U. program.
E -TE Yy\, (QI
