CITY OF COLTON <br />`�orrorot• <br />a <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />d foto <br />For Council Meeting of December 6, 1994 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL DATE: November 17, 1994 <br />t <br />FROM: PAULA CHAMBERLAIN <br />Finance Director <br />SUBJECT: Award of Bid for Single Phase Meters for the Electric Department to WESCO Utility in the <br />Amount of $7,742.48 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The City purchases single phase electric meters into stores inventory for use by the Electric Utility on an "as <br />required" basis. The quantities are determined by the City's Principal Electrical Engineer as plans are received <br />for new development or replacement meters are needed. On October 27, 1994, General Services posted a <br />notice inviting sealed bids for this requirement. <br />Bid opening was held at 2:30 p.m., November 16, 1994, in the General Services office. Five bids were <br />received and evaluated. Attached is a Bid Analysis showing price and delivery terms for each bidder. The <br />recommended vendor's price is underlined. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />These are a normal resupply of the electric stores inventory. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends bid award to WESCO Utility in the amount $7,742.48. <br />Report prepared by: Mary J.
