vim <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />With no further business to come before the City Council at this time, on motion of Councilman <br />Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Gonzales and unanimously passed, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the <br />meeting at 8:36 p. m., to meet for an Adjourned Regular Meeting on Tuesday, August 27, 1974, <br />at 5:00 p. m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall. <br />Approved this day of , 1974. <br />Mayor <br />HELEN A. RAMOS <br />City Clerk <br />ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING <br />August 27, 1974 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 5:00 p. m., in the Council <br />Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council members present were Spragins, Rehrer, and Mayor Huntoon, Also present were City <br />Manager Huffaker, City Attorney Hutton, and Deputy City Clerk Karratti. Absent was Council- <br />man Hayes, Councilman Gonzales, and City Clerk Ramos. <br />Tax Ordinances. <br />City Manager Huffaker stated the purpose of the Adjourned Regular Meeting this afternoon is <br />for the second reading of the Tax Ordinances for 1974-75. <br />Ordinance No. 1463. <br />City Attorney Hutton introduced Ordinance No. 1463 for second reading, reading it as to number <br />and title only: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1463 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, PROVIDING FOR THE <br />LEVY AND COLLECTION OF TAXES FOR MUNICIPAL USES TO BE LEVIED AND COLLECT- <br />ED BY THE -COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO. <br />On motion of Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Spragins and passed, second reading <br />was approved and Ordinance No. 1463 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 1464. <br />City Attorney Hutton introduced Ordinance No. 1464 for second reading, reading it as to number <br />and title only: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1464 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON FIXING THE AMOUNT <br />NECESSARY TO BE R ISED7 BY TAXATION TO CARRY ON THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS <br />OF THE CITY OF COLTON FOR THE CURRENT YEAR OF 1974-75. <br />On motion of Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Spragins and passed, second reading <br />was approved and Ordinance No. 1464 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 1465. <br />City Attorney Hutton introduced Ordinance No. 1465 for second reading, reading it as to <br />number and title only: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1465 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, FIXING THE 1974-75 <br />TAK RATE FOR THE CITY OF COLTON. <br />On motion of Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Spragins and passed, second reading <br />was approved and Ordinance No. 1465 adopted. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the City Council at this time, on motion of <br />Councilwoman Spragins, seconded by Councilman Rehrer and passed, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the <br />meeting at 5:08 p. m. <br />JANE M.
