0 CD 0 co Q 79 ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 283, 1985 In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the. City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 5:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding. ROLL CALL: Council Members present were Rios- Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor fkmtoon. Also present were City Manager Elliott, City Attorney Edwards, City Clerk Ramos, Acting Finance Director Andengaard and Assistant Finance Director Young. REVENUE SHARING Mayor Huntoon asked ,City Attorney Edwards to report on this matter. City Attorney Edwards announced that this was the proper time and place for the Budget Hearing on Revenue Sharing Funds. City Attorney Edwards advised due and proper Public Notice was given of this Public Hearing in accordance with Federal Regulations. City Attorney Edwards asked if there was anyone in the audience desiring to speak on this matter. City Attorney Edwards noted there was no one wishing to speak on this matter. Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to close the public hearing. Unanimous vote. City Manager Elliott informed the Council Members that the City had just com- pleted a unique Mortgage Revenue Bond Program and that.he has asked the Sun Newspaper to come.in on Monday for a press release. Mr. Elliott reported the City received $40,000 for City costs plus one month interest on $800,000. ELECTRIC City Manager Elliott reported the Council has previously been presented with Resolution No. 4618, which is the Electric Utility Rate resolution for the City, to become effective July 1, 1985. Mr. Elliott said this is the proposed rate structure presented to the Council by R. W. Beck and Associates at the Budget Session of June 19. Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve RESOLUTION NO. 4618. Unanimous vote. BUDGET: City Manager Elliott reported the FY 1985-86 Budget of $28,076, 190 includes all of the items discussed by the Council during the Budget Sessions. Mr. Elliott said it does not include, however, the temporary position requested by the Planning Department. City Manager Elliott said the Personnel Consul- tants have been requested to review this item and staff will report back to the Council. Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve Resolu- tion No. 4619. Unanimous vote. Y RESOLUTION NO. 4619 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1985-86. City Manager Elliott reported Resolution No. 4620 approves and adopts the Annual Appropriation Limit for the Fiscal Year 1985-86. Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve RESOLUTION NO. 4620. Unanimous vote.
