0 <br />CD <br />0 <br />co <br />Q <br />79 <br />ADJOURNED COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 283, 1985 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting <br />of the. City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at <br />5:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Huntoon presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council Members present were Rios- Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor fkmtoon. <br />Also present were City Manager Elliott, City Attorney Edwards, City Clerk Ramos, <br />Acting Finance Director Andengaard and Assistant Finance Director Young. <br />REVENUE SHARING <br />Mayor Huntoon asked ,City Attorney Edwards to report on this matter. <br />City Attorney Edwards announced that this was the proper time and place for <br />the Budget Hearing on Revenue Sharing Funds. City Attorney Edwards advised due <br />and proper Public Notice was given of this Public Hearing in accordance with <br />Federal Regulations. <br />City Attorney Edwards asked if there was anyone in the audience desiring to <br />speak on this matter. City Attorney Edwards noted there was no one wishing to <br />speak on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilwoman Cisneros, to close the <br />public hearing. Unanimous vote. <br />City Manager Elliott informed the Council Members that the City had just com- <br />pleted a unique Mortgage Revenue Bond Program and that.he has asked the Sun <br />Newspaper to come.in on Monday for a press release. Mr. Elliott reported the <br />City received $40,000 for City costs plus one month interest on $800,000. <br />ELECTRIC <br />City Manager Elliott reported the Council has previously been presented with <br />Resolution No. 4618, which is the Electric Utility Rate resolution for the <br />City, to become effective July 1, 1985. Mr. Elliott said this is the proposed <br />rate structure presented to the Council by R. W. Beck and Associates at the <br />Budget Session of June 19. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4618. Unanimous vote. <br />BUDGET: <br />City Manager Elliott reported the FY 1985-86 Budget of $28,076, 190 includes <br />all of the items discussed by the Council during the Budget Sessions. Mr. <br />Elliott said it does not include, however, the temporary position requested <br />by the Planning Department. City Manager Elliott said the Personnel Consul- <br />tants have been requested to review this item and staff will report back to <br />the Council. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve Resolu- <br />tion No. 4619. Unanimous vote. <br />Y RESOLUTION NO. 4619 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />COLTON ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR <br />1985-86. <br />City Manager Elliott reported Resolution No. 4620 approves and adopts the <br />Annual Appropriation Limit for the Fiscal Year 1985-86. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios, to approve <br />RESOLUTION NO. 4620. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros,.seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to approve <br />Resolution No. 4621. Uniamous vote. <br />JUN `2 8 <br />
