238 <br />Mr. Benest concluded Staff recommends that the City Council approve <br />the attached agreement and authorize Eckhardt Associates to proceed <br />after a time line has been developed by Staff. <br />Councilman Rios stated he felt this matter should be held over until <br />there was a full Council. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Mayor Huntoon, to approve <br />Staff's recommendations with regard to proposal from Consuelo Eckhardt <br />Associates, Inc., for interior design of City Hall. Upon Roll Call, <br />the Vote was: Ayes: One; Cisneros. Noes: Two; Rios, Huntoon. Motio <br />did not carry. <br />Mayor Huntoon stated this matter would be held over until the next <br />regular Council Meeting. <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Civil Service Board <br />City Attorney Edwards stated that although he did not have any scheduled <br />items on the Agenda this evening, he would like to take this opportunity <br />to commend the Civil Service Board for the fine job they did in com- <br />pleting their studies on the Appeals. <br />The Council Members also commended the Civil Service Board. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: <br />Mr. John Longfield, 1809 Cottonwood, Colton, asked about Item No. 29 <br />on the Agenda, and if the area of the Americana complex could be in- <br />cluded in proposed improvements, due to the drainage problem that is <br />occurring there. <br />Mr. Benest and Mayor Huntoon stated Item No. 29 related to the Agua <br />Mansa Industrial Area, and is a completely different matter. Mr. <br />Benest stated he would check into the problem at the Americana complex. <br />Mr. Longfield then asked for information on the TEFRA Hearing, Fred- <br />ricks Development, scheduled for Tuesday, August 19, 1986. <br />Mr. Benest suggested that Mr. Longfield get in touch with Jennifer <br />Thornberry, RDA Manager, regarding that item. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rios and unani- <br />mously passed, Mayor Huntoon adjourned the meeting at 8:20 p. m. <br />HELEN A.
