1 <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 <br />5 <br />6 <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 <br />11 <br />19 <br />20 <br />21 <br />22 <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />] 7 <br />428 <br />29 <br />30 <br />31 <br />32 <br />ORDINANCE NG ..G.. �.7 <br />0 R D I N A N C L. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance of bonds of <br />the City of Colton in the amount of Sixty-three Thousand Dollars, <br />for the acquisition and construction of a sewer system in said <br />City. <br />Whereas, the proposition to incur a bonded indebtedness <br />of said City of Colton in the sum of Sixty-three Thousand Dollars <br />principal sum with interest thereon not to exceed five per cent. <br />Baer annum, interest payable seal -annually, principal and interest <br />payable in ,awful money of the united States of America, for the <br />acquisition and construction of a sewer system in the City of <br />Colton, as aforesaid has been submitted to the qualified voters <br />of said city at a special election held therefor, and more than <br />two-thirds of all the voters voting at such election have been <br />in favor of and have authorized the issuance of the bonds afore- <br />said, and, <br />Whereas, the acquisition and construction of said muni- <br />cipal improvements herein before mentioned and set forth is for <br />the object and purpose of furnishing to the said City of Colton, <br />and the inhabitanta thereof with sewers for domestic and sanitary <br />purposes, and to better protect and safeguard the health of said <br />inhabitants. 11ocr therefore, the Board of Trustees of the City <br />of Colton do ordain as follows: <br />SECTION 1. That the bonds of the City of Colton in <br />the amount of Sixty-three Thousand Dollars be issued in accord- <br />ance with the provisions of the Act of the Legislature of the <br />State of California entitled "An Act authorizing the incurring <br />of indebtedness by cities, torns and municipal corporations for <br />munici-oa.l improvements and regulating the acquisition, construe- <br />- 1 - <br />
