An ordinance providing for the issuance of bonds of the City of Colton in the amount of Sixty-three Thousand Dollars, for the acquisition and construction of a sewer system in said City. Whereas, the proposition to incur a bonded indebtedness of said City of Colton in the sum of Sixty-three Thousand Dollars principal sum with interest thereon not to exceed five per cent. Baer annum, interest payable seal -annually, principal and interest payable in ,awful money of the united States of America, for the acquisition and construction of a sewer system in the City of Colton, as aforesaid has been submitted to the qualified voters of said city at a special election held therefor, and more than two-thirds of all the voters voting at such election have been in favor of and have authorized the issuance of the bonds afore- said, and, Whereas, the acquisition and construction of said muni- cipal improvements herein before mentioned and set forth is for the object and purpose of furnishing to the said City of Colton, and the inhabitanta thereof with sewers for domestic and sanitary purposes, and to better protect and safeguard the health of said inhabitants. 11ocr therefore, the Board of Trustees of the City of Colton do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That the bonds of the City of Colton in the amount of Sixty-three Thousand Dollars be issued in accord- ance with the provisions of the Act of the Legislature of the State of California entitled "An Act authorizing the incurring of indebtedness by cities, torns and municipal corporations for munici-oa.l improvements and regulating the acquisition, construe- - 1 -
