R-08-09 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA <br />TO PRIORITIZE THE TYPE OF PROJECTS TO BE FUNDED BY COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Colton elected to enter into a Cooperation <br />Agreement with the County of San Bernardino in order to receive Community Development Block Grant <br />(CDBG) funds; and, <br />WHEREAS, as a Cooperating City, the City of Colton anticipates receiving $418,654 in <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for: FY 2009-2010; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City must inform the County as to which eligible projects will be funded with <br />CDBG funds. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Colton <br />Prioritizes and allocates CDBG funds for the following projects for FY 2009-2010; <br />Proposed Project Colton CDBG Funds Recommended Type <br />District <br />1. Sidewalk along Palm Avenue 3 $120,000 Construction <br />2. Sidewalk infill along E St. <br />4 <br />$25,000 <br />Construction <br />3. Sidewalk infill along Fairway <br />3 <br />$145,000 <br />Construction <br />Drive <br />4. Sidewalk infill along D St. and <br />4 <br />$20,000 <br />Construction <br />G St. <br />5. Sidewalk infill along E St. <br />4 <br />$25,000 <br />Construction <br />6. Alley Improvements <br />Various <br />$58,654 <br />Construction <br />7.
