R-15-09 <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON RESOLUTION TO GRANT ANOTHER <br />DESIGNATED PERIOD FOR TWO YEARS ADDITIONAL SERVICE CREDIT FOR THE <br />ELIGIBLE LOCAL SAFETY AND MISCELLANEOUS MEMBERS <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Colton is a contracting Public Agency of the <br />Public Employee's Retirement System; and <br />WHEREAS, said Public Agency desires to provide another designated period for Two Years of <br />Additional Service Credit, Government Code Section 20903 and 7507, based on contract amendment <br />included in said contract that provided for Section 20903, Two Years Additional Service Credit, for <br />the eligible Local Safety and Miscellaneous Members; and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said City Council does seek to add another <br />designated period and does hereby authorize this Resolution, indicating a desire to add a designated <br />period from March 18, 2009 to July 2, 2009 for the eligible Local Safety and Miscellaneous Members <br />in the following positions: <br />SAFETY MEMBER: MISCELLANEOUS MEMBER <br />Police Detective/Corporal Maintenance Worker III <br />Police Officer Equipment Operator II <br />Fire Engineer <br />Fire Captain <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of March 2009. <br />ATTEST: <br />(�Lta,-Enm,, emo- Q�h�k-a"� <br />EILEEN C.
