1 <br />2 RESOLUTION NO. R-03-15 <br />3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, RE -ADOPTING A REVISED CITY <br />4 COUNCIL MANUAL OF PROCEDURE AND <br />5 RESCINDING ALL PRIOR RESOLUTIONS RELATED <br />THERETO <br />6 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council conducts its meetings in accordance with its <br />7 <br />Manual of Procedure ("MOP") and applicable state law, including, but not limited to, the <br />8 Ralph M. Brown Act (Government Code Section 54950 et seq.); <br />9 WHEREAS, the City Council adopted the MOP in its entirety on December 16, <br />10 1986, pursuant to Resolution No. R-185-86; <br />I I WHEREAS, the City Council subsequently adopted minor amendments to the <br />12 MOP, pursuant to duly adopted resolutions, such as R-98-96 and R-29-95; <br />13 WHEREAS, the City Council last updated and re -adopted the MOP in its <br />14 entirely on November 20, 2007, pursuant to Resolution No. R-150-07; <br />15 WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the MOP should be updated <br />16 and re -adopted in its entirety; <br />17 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />18 DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />19 <br />20 SECTION 1. The MOP dated December 2, 2014 and adopted on the same date <br />21 is hereby re -adopted by this Resolution. <br />22 SECTION 2. All prior resolutions and actions adopted or taken with respect to <br />23 the MOP, including, but not limited to, Resolutions R-185-86, R-98-96, R-29-95 and R-150-07 <br />24 are hereby rescinded. <br />zs SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. <br />SECTION 4.
