Toro (excused) <br /> <br />CEREMONIAL MATTERS <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br /> <br />• Presentation - New Utility Bill (Informational Item) <br />Nicole Mihld, Purchasing/CSR Manager, introduce to Council the newly formatted Utility Bill which will be <br />going out to utility customers within the next several months; the design included input by customer service <br />representatives in the Utility Billing Division. <br /> <br />The following elements were taken into consideration in developing the final format of the Utility Bill and <br />Reminder Notice: <br />• Reduce the size of the bill to letter size – This is a cost saving measure to reduce mailing costs. <br />• Reduce the size of the bill to reduce printing costs – This is a cost saving measure to reduce printing <br />costs. <br />• Give the bill a new fresh updated look and feel – The old bill was outdated. <br />• Ensure we kept the bill information the Customers’ requests the most when calling or are at the counter. <br />• Saving approx. $3,000 a year in printing 3rd party printing costs. <br />• Saving approx. $1,500 a year in preprinted in mailing costs. <br />• Saving approx. $4,500 a year in preprinted forms for 3rd Party stock and City stock. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS <br /> <br />• LCC Voting Delegate and Alternates - League of California Cities Voting Delegate and Alternates - <br />Designate One (1) Voting Delegate and May Appoint up to Two (2) Voting Alternates. <br />Mayor Navarro introduced the item; and with consensus of the Councilmembers presented: Councilmember <br />González will be the Voting Delegate; Councilmember Cisneros & Councilmember Suchil will be the Voting <br />Alternates; so ratified. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS <br /> <br />POSSIBLE CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURES FOR THE COUNCIL MEETING OF AUGUST 6, <br />2019. <br /> <br />GIFT DISCLOSURES <br />Mayor Navarro asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict of interest <br />pursuant to CMC Section 2.04.030. None disclosed. <br /> <br />
