JOINT SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY OF COLTON CITY COUNCIL/SUCCESSOR AGENCY TO THE REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY FOR THE CITY OF COLTON/COLTON UTILITY AUTHORITY/ <br />COLTON PUBLIC FINANCING AUTHORITY AND <br />COLTON HOUSING AUTHORITY <br />AND <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES <br />July 29, 2015 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given a Special Meeting of the City <br />Council/Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency for the City of Colton/Colton Utility <br />Authority/Colton Public Financing Authority and Colton Housing Authority and the Planning <br />Commission was held on the above given date at 5:32 p.m., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, 650 North La Cadena Drive, Mayor DeLaRosa and Chairperson Prieto presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE <br />Mayor DeLaRosa <br />CITY COUNCIL ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Jorrin, Gonzalez, Bennett, Suchil, Mayor Pro Tem Navarro, and <br />Mayor DeLaRosa. Councilmember Toro absent. Staff present were City Manager Smith, and <br />City Clerk Padilla. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners present were Arrieta, Delgado, Grossich, Larson, Granado-Dominguez, Vice - <br />Chairperson Archuleta, and Chairperson Prieto. <br />Mayor DeLaRosa announced he would need to recues himself from participating on this item as <br />he owns property within 500 ft. of the project area to be discussed; Mark Tomich, Development <br />Services Director concurred. <br />Councilmember Bennett referenced an area where she is a property owner (other than her <br />personal residence) and asked if the land is in either of the two project areas (Proposed SDA <br />Overlay Expansion North — South) causing a conflict; Director Tomich informed CM Bennett it <br />was not. <br />Councilmember Suchil inquired as to his ability to participate as his name is on a family trust <br />and the property is located in the Proposed SDA Overlay Expansion North; Director was not <br />aware of the address in question and would need to concur with legal counsel and requested of <br />Council for a recess so this can be resolved. <br />RECESS: 5:38 p.m. <br />RECONVENED: 5:45 p.m. <br />2015 JULY 29 JOINT/REG CC/SARDA/CUA/CPPA/CHA- PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING 1 - <br />
