CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Mayor Zamora presented Consent Calendar Item Nos. 1 through 13 for action by Council. <br />The following action was taken on the Consent Calendar: <br />CM Gonzales had questions on Item Nos. 2 and 9. <br />Motion and second by CM Suchil/Oliva, to approve the Consent Calendar as presented. Unanimous <br />vote. <br />(1) Purchase of LED Streetlight Fixtures - Awarded Bid for the Purchase of LeoTek Streetlight <br />Fixtures and Ripley Photo Controls to Wesco Distribution Inc., in the Amount of $81,329.40. <br />(2) Purchase of Itron Electric Meters — Waived the Competitive Bidding Requirement and <br />Approve the Annual Purchase of Itron Electric Meters from McAvoy & Markham <br />Engineering and Sales Company, Inc., in the Estimated Amount of Not -to -Exceed $156,859. <br />(3) Emission Allowances - Approved and Adopted a Resolution Establishing a Policy for the <br />Use of Revenues Received through the Sale of Freely Allocated Compliance Instruments <br />(Emission Allowances) under the California Cap and Trade Program Established in AB 32, <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-82-13. <br />(4) Electric Energy Storage Evaluation Plan - Approved and Adopted a Resolution Establishing <br />an Electric Energy Storage System (ESS) Evaluation Plan in Accordance with AB 2514, <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-83-13. <br />(5) Contract with Department of Education for School Age Services — Approved and Adopted a <br />Resolution Accepting a Contract with the California State Department of Education for the <br />Provision of School Age Early Childhood Education Services in the Community Services <br />Department, and Amending the Approved Budget for Fiscal Year 2013-14 to Reflect this <br />Acceptance, RESOLUTION NO. R-84-13. <br />(6) Tract Map 16912 — Approved the Final Map and Accepted the Subdivision Improvements for <br />Tract Map 16912, Diversified Pacific Group, LLC. <br />(7) Destruction of Obsolete Records — Approved and Adopted a Resolution Authorizing the <br />Destruction of Certain Obsolete Records, RESOLUTION NO. R-85-13. <br />(8) Warrants — Approved Payable Warrants #137942 to #138039, Dated 9/12/13, Totaling <br />$562,123.11; Payable Warrants #138040 to #138164, Dated 9/19/13, Totaling $2,400,102.36; <br />and a Payroll Disbursement listing for the period 9/28/13 to 10/11/13, totaling $651,298.56, <br />on File in the Finance Department. <br />(9) Establishing the Code Compliance Commission - Approved and Adopted a Resolution to <br />Establish the Code Compliance Commission and Rename and Reorganize the Code <br />Enforcement and Housing Appeals Board (CEHAAB) to Code Compliance and Housing <br />Appeals Board (CCHAB), RESOLUTION NO.
