Mayor Zamora opened the Public Hearing. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None. <br />Council Member Gonzales continued with discussion and addressed questions to Development <br />Services Director Tomich regarding this project. <br />Mayor Zamora closed the public hearing. <br />Motion and second by CM Bennett/Navarro, to close the Public Hearing. <br />Motion and second by CM Bennett/Oliva, to move this item and approve staff's recommendation. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />BUSINESS ITEMS <br />None. <br />CITY COUNCIL DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />Council Member Oliva announced that the Proclamation for Union Pacific will be moved to the <br />December 17, 2013 Council meeting due to the representatives not being able to attend this meeting. <br />Council Member Gonzales began discussion regarding receptacles for syringes needed throughout <br />the City. Council Member Gonzales also stated that the information on Charmel 3 is not large <br />enough to read the details for the locations. Community Services Director Smith and Fire Chief <br />McHargue both informed the public that they are working on more notifications with this <br />information being available to the public. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS <br />(11) Discussion Regarding Council Meeting of January 7, 2014. <br />City Manager Compton provided a brief summary of his City Manager's report, announcing that the <br />Plaza Las Glorias sign has been removed and the new planters in front of City Hall were installed. <br />There was discussion regarding the cancellation of the Council meeting scheduled to be held on <br />January 7, 2014, and it was a consensus of the Council to go dark on that day. The first regular <br />Council meeting of2014 is scheduled to be held on January 21, 2014. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion and second to adjourn by CM Oliva/Suchil.
