Ms. Keane stated should Council wish to use revenue sharing funds for other programs or expenditures not currently included in the proposed budget, it will be necessary to either reduce the Human Services Department Budget or to fund it with other General Fund monies. Mayor Gonzales opened the public hearing for public input. There being no public input, the public hearing was closed on motion of Council Member Cisneros, seconded by Council Member Rios. Unanimous vote. Ms. Keane recommended that upon Council consensus to accept staff's proposal for the use of the Revenue Sharing funds, the City Council should defer minute action to adopt a revenue sharing budget until the Adjourned Council Meeting of June 30, 1987, when the City's Fiscal Year 1987-88 Annual Budget will be ready for adoption.
