COUNCIL MEETING <br />AUGUST 4, 1987 <br />A Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on <br />the above given date at 7:30 p. m., at the Lawrence A. Hutton Community <br />Center, Mayor Gonzales presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Council Members present were Rios, Cisneros, Rehrer, Garcia, and Mayor <br />Gonzales. Also present were City Manager Benest, City Attorney Edwards, <br />and City Clerk Ramos. <br />City Hall Renovation <br />Mr. Benest stated that hopefully the Council Chambers renovation will <br />be completed soon and the next regular Council Meeting can be held in <br />our newly decorated Chambers. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />Mr. Benest stated that Item No. 3, under the Consent Calendar, will <br />be excluded, and considered at the next regular Council Meeting. <br />(1) Minutes <br />July 21, 1987 <br />(2) Warrants <br />61172 through 61537, and 132835 through 132957 <br />(July 29, 1987) inclusive. <br />(3) Bids <br />Waiver of Bid Security requirement of the Municipal Code when <br />requesting quotations on Vehicles. (Removed from Agenda) <br />(4) Bids <br />Award of Bid, Checkpoint Systems, Inc., $9,769, for a Library <br />Security System. <br />(5) Bids <br />Award of Bid, A. B. Chance Company, $7,770.86, for Transformers. <br />(6) Personnel <br />Approval of title change for Equipment Maintenance Supervisor <br />and Streets Maintenance Supervisor. <br />(7) Personnel <br />Set Public Hearing, Tuesday, August 18, 1987, amending the <br />Pay & Classification Plan to include Program Specialist. <br />(8) Personnel <br />Set Public Hearing, Tuesday, August 18, 1987, amending the <br />Pay & Classification Plan to include Police Services Supervisor. <br />1 <br />
