Personnel Officer Benest submitted the Affidavit of Posting and re- <br />ported that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Personnel Officer Benest reviewed his memorandum regarding amendment <br />to the City's Pay and Classification Plan to include the position of <br />Recreation Services Manager, who will be under the direction of the <br />Human Services Director. Mr. Benest outlined the duties involved with <br />the position, the educational requirements, experience, and proposed <br />salary range, which has been set at 39.0 for this management position. <br />Mr. Benest advised this position and its qualifications has been re- <br />viewed with the Parks & Recreation Commission, and the Commission was <br />very positive about the reorganization. <br />Mr. Benest concluded Staff recommends approval of the job description <br />and the revised version of Resolution No. R-7-87, amending the City's <br />Pay and Classification Plan. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Upon no one stepping forward, on motion of Councilwoman Cisneros, sec- <br />onded by Councilman Rios, the Public Hearing was terminated. Unanimous <br />vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Cisneros, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, to ap- <br />prove Job Description for Recreation Services Manager and Resolution <br />No. R-7-87. Housing Rehabilitation Program <br />Grantee Performance Report <br />Mayor Gonzalesdeclared the Public Hearing open. <br />Deputy City Clerk Veralrud submitted the Affidavit of Publication and <br />reported that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Community Development Director Aguilera advised that Colton's Office <br />of Community Development is currently administering a Housing Rehabili- <br />tation Program that is funded by a Grant in the amount of $300,000 from <br />the California State Department of Housing and Urban Development. The <br />Grant was awarded for the period covering June 30, 1984, to April 1, <br />1987, and, as part of the Grant Agreement, the City is required to sub- <br />mit an Annual Grantee Performance Report which outlines all housing re- <br />habilitation activity for the previous fiscal year. <br />3 <br />
