(15) Personnel <br />Set for Public Hearing, Tuesday, August 4, 1987, amendment to <br />the City's Pay and Classification Plan to include Water and <br />Water Quality Manager. <br />(16) Bids <br />Approval of RESOLUTION NO. R-101-87, authorizing the State of <br />California, Office of Procurement, to purchase four Police <br />vehicles for the City of Colton. <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilwoman Garcia, to approve <br />the Consent Calendar, with deletion of Item No. 11. Unanimous vote. <br />MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />League of California Citi <br />Moved by Councilman Rehrer, seconded by Councilman Rios, designating <br />Mayor Gonzales as the City's Voting Delegate, and Mayor Pro Tem Garcia <br />as the City's Voting Alternate, for the 1987 Annual Conference of the <br />League of California Cities, October 4 - 7, 1987, in San Francisco. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Street Vacations <br />Res. No. R-98-87 <br />Mayor Gonzales declared the Public Hearing open. <br />City Clerk Ramos submitted the Affidavit of Publication and reported <br />that no protests or objections had been received. <br />Public Works Director Hutton reported on the proposed abandonment of <br />the alley way north of "C" Street and west of Pennsylvania Avenue, <br />stating if no protests are heard, Staff would recommend adoption of <br />Resolution No. R-98-87, ordering the abandonment of the alley way. <br />Mayor Gonzales asked if anyone present desired to speak on this matter. <br />Councilman Rios asked what_ was the purpose of vacating this particular <br />alley way. <br />Mr. Hutton stated the residents in that area petitioned for the vacation. <br />Moved by Councilman Rios, seconded by Councilman Rehrer, the Public <br />Hearing was terminated. Unanimous vote. <br />Moved by Councilwoman Garcia, seconded by Councilman Rios, approving <br />and adopting Resolution No. R-98-87. Unanimous vote. <br />^ RESOLUTION NO.
