contribute 25% of the funding. All interest earned shall accrue to <br />the benefit of COLTON and SAN BERNARDINO in proportion to their <br />respective contributions. <br />8. Contracting For Services. Except for emergency repairs <br />essential to protect public health and safety, SAWPA shall obtain <br />the prior approval of SAN BERNARDINO and COLTON to (a) secure the <br />services of any contractor or subcontractor for the purpose of <br />performing repairs or (b) to purchase replacement equipment, the <br />cost of either of which exceeds $7,500.00. <br />9. Sale of Reclaimed Wastewater. SAWPA.may sell the <br />reclaimed wastewater, subject to the approval of the Board of <br />Control. All of the proceeds from such sales shall be applied <br />against the cost of operating the Demonstration System. <br />10. Board of Control. SAWPA's actions under this Agreement <br />shall be subject to the supervision, direction, and control of the <br />Board of Control established pursuant to the COORDINATED AGREEMENT. <br />11. Compensation. <br />a. The costs, expenses and liabilities of the <br />Demonstration System shall be assessed to, and paid by, SAN <br />BERNARDINO and COLTON in accordance with the budget as approved <br />by the Board of Control. SAN BERNARDINO shall pay 75% of all <br />costs and COLTON shall pay 25% of all costs. <br />b.
