RESOLUTION NO. R-69-94 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTINUE OPERATIONS AND EXPEND FUNDS AFTER JULY 1, 1994 PENDING ADOPTION OF A BUDGET FOR THE NEW FISCAL YEAR. Affirmative Action Plan Interim City Manager Winter submitted the two proposals received in response to the City's request for proposals for preparation of its Affirmative Action Plan. If Council wishes to proceed, staff recommended that the proposal submitted by Affirmative Business Practices be accepted and that an appropriation of $4,800.00 from the General Fund Reserve be approved. Motion by Councilmember Beltran, seconded by Councilmember Sandoval, to accept staff's recommendation and approve the designation of Affirmative Business Practices as the City's consultant to prepare its Affirmation Action Plan and that the sum of $4,800.00 be appropriated from the General Fund Reserve for this purpose. Unanimous vote. CLOSED SESSION: With time constraints, City Attorney Biggs advised that the matters listed under pending litigation can be held for discussion until the next City Council meeting. Risk Manager Ramos indicated an urgent need to discuss the liability claim. At 10:40 P. M., Mayor Gonzales declared the City Council adjourned to Closed Session to consider the liability claim regarding Thi Truong Ho, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.95. At 10:42 P. M., City Council Meeting reconvened with all Members present as heretofore. City Attorney Biggs announced that the City Council discussed the liability claim regarding Thi Truong Ho and there was no reportable action taken. ADJOURNMENT• At 10:55 P. M. with consensus of City Council, Mayor Gonzales declared the meeting continued to June 21, 1994 at 5:00 P.M. for an Adjourned Regular Meeting for a Closed Session regarding Pending Litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9. s TERESA S.
