RESOLUTION NO. R-69-94 - A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO CONTINUE OPERATIONS AND EXPEND <br />FUNDS AFTER JULY 1, 1994 PENDING ADOPTION <br />OF A BUDGET FOR THE NEW FISCAL YEAR. <br />Affirmative Action Plan <br />Interim City Manager Winter submitted the two proposals received in <br />response to the City's request for proposals for preparation of its <br />Affirmative Action Plan. If Council wishes to proceed, staff <br />recommended that the proposal submitted by Affirmative Business <br />Practices be accepted and that an appropriation of $4,800.00 from <br />the General Fund Reserve be approved. <br />Motion by Councilmember Beltran, seconded by Councilmember <br />Sandoval, to accept staff's recommendation and approve the <br />designation of Affirmative Business Practices as the City's <br />consultant to prepare its Affirmation Action Plan and that the sum <br />of $4,800.00 be appropriated from the General Fund Reserve for this <br />purpose. Unanimous vote. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />With time constraints, City Attorney Biggs advised that the matters <br />listed under pending litigation can be held for discussion until <br />the next City Council meeting. Risk Manager Ramos indicated an <br />urgent need to discuss the liability claim. <br />At 10:40 P. M., Mayor Gonzales declared the City Council adjourned <br />to Closed Session to consider the liability claim regarding Thi <br />Truong Ho, pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.95. <br />At 10:42 P. M., City Council Meeting reconvened with all Members <br />present as heretofore. City Attorney Biggs announced that the City <br />Council discussed the liability claim regarding Thi Truong Ho and <br />there was no reportable action taken. <br />ADJOURNMENT• <br />At 10:55 P. M. with consensus of City Council, Mayor Gonzales <br />declared the meeting continued to June 21, 1994 at 5:00 P.M. for an <br />Adjourned Regular Meeting for a Closed Session regarding Pending <br />Litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9. <br />s <br />TERESA S.
