M., in the Council Chambers of <br />Adjourned Regular <br />held on the above <br />City Hall, Mayor <br />Councilmembers present were Bennett, Sandoval, Rios, Cisneros, Cook, <br />Beltran and Mayor Gonzales. Also present were City Attorney Biggs, City <br />Manager Young, and City Clerk Ramos. <br />AGENDA REVIEW• <br />Discussion had as to the order of the items remaining to be discussed. <br />By consensus, Mayor Gonzales declared that the Council would address <br />Item 2 now. <br />(-- STAFF REPORTS: <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Finance Director <br />City Manager Young declared that the nominee was present for interview <br />and as requested, Interim Finance Director Daroca and Treasurer Williams <br />shared their evaluation of the candidate. <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />The City Council adjourned to Closed Session at 4:43 P. M., to discuss <br />Personnel Matters pursuant to Government Code Section 54957. <br />At 5:37 P.M., City Council Meeting reconvened with all Members present <br />as heretofore. City Attorney Biggs announced that Council had conducted <br />a discussion on a personnel matter and no action was taken. <br />FINANCE DIRECTOR (Continued <br />Motion by Councilmember Sandoval, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to <br />ratify the selection of Paula Chamberlain as Finance Director. <br />Unanimous vote. Finance Director Chamberlain accepted the appointment, <br />stated she was looking forward to joining the City within three weeks. <br />MAR 16 1994 <br />
