R-59-94. <br />(13) Streets <br />Accept Notice of Completion for South La Cadena <br />Beautification Project - Phase 1 Hillcrest Contracting. <br />(14) Streets <br />Approve Resolution Declaring Intention to Vacate a <br />Portion of the Northwest Corner of Hunts Land and Barton <br />Road (Washington Street), for Street Rights of Way, <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-60-94. <br />(15) Recycling <br />Approve Resolution regarding AB939 Waste Characterization <br />Trust Funds Reimbursement, RESOLUTION NO. R-61-94. <br />Motion by Councilmember Beltran, seconded by Councilmember Bennett, <br />to approve Consent Calendar except for Item Nos. 2 and 6. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />1� Agenda Item 2 <br />From the Materiel Warrant Packet of April 24, 1994, particularly <br />Register No. 3261 (Warrant No. 196181) for $14,094.00, <br />Councilmember Beltran suggested that there be no further payment to <br />McGladrey & Pullen until the City received the audit for 1992-93 <br />fiscal year. <br />Finance Director Chamberlain reported that the amount represented <br />a progress payment, not payment in full. She stated that a meeting <br />was scheduled next week with the audit committee for final review <br />before audit is presented to the City Council. she indicated that <br />the audit has been completed. She stated that a preliminary report <br />on 1993-94 budget has been prepared. Ms. Chamberlain explained it <br />had been a long audit process. The Mayor and Members of the City <br />Council expressed their gratitude for her accomplishments during <br />her brief stay and wished Ms. Chamberlain great success in her new <br />business endeavor. <br />Motion by Councilmember Beltran, seconded by Councilmember <br />Sandoval, to accept and approve the materiel warrant information. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />4 <br />MAY 17 1994 <br />
