M., <br />for an "Old Fashion Christmas in the Park." <br />FROM SUPPLEMENTAL AGENDA - CONSENT CALENDAR: <br />(30) Agreement <br />Approval of Agreement with McGladrey & Pullen for Audit <br />Services/Year Ended June 30, 1994. <br />Motion by Councilmember Cisneros, seconded by Councilmember <br />Sandoval, to approve clarification to the minutes [Item No. 1] and <br />to approve the Consent Calendar, including Item 30. Unanimous <br />vote. <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Mayor Gonzales introduced Mr. Nabar Martinez who was recently <br />appointed, by the City Council, as the City Manager of the City of <br />Colton. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />City Manager <br />Mr. Christopher Gahr, 901 E. Washington, recalled that at a recent <br />City Council meeting the Mayor voted for the motion upholding no <br />city manager would be placed until a new City Council was elected <br />in November. The Mayor expressed that to do otherwise would be <br />"stupid and ignorant." Mr. Gahr asked if the Mayor was "stupid and <br />ignorant." Mayor Gonzales stated it took 4 votes to act and said <br />he preferred the Acting City Manager for continuity of budget, <br />audit and labor negotiations currently taking place, and allow the <br />4 <br />
