ADJOURNED CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JANUARY 5, 1995 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held <br />on the above given date at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall, Mayor Fulp presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE• <br />Mayor Fulp led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Hutton, Sandoval, Bennett, Cook, <br />Sanders, Beltran and Mayor Fulp. Also present were City Manager <br />Martinez, City Attorney Biggs, and City Clerk Ramos. <br />WELCOME• <br />Mayor Fulp welcomed Mayor Bob Christman from the City of Loma <br />Linda. <br />CITY MANAGER: <br />Citv's Executive Positions <br />Personnel Director Gracie Harmon reported the Council had received <br />the information requested with regard to the City's Executive <br />Positions. Director Harmon stated the material includes two <br />surveys: One conducted by Interim Personnel Director Mary Jane <br />Perlick and Interim City Manager Bill Winter and the recent one <br />conducted by her office. The more recent survey reflects higher <br />salaries for some positions due to salary increases. <br />Mayor Fulp thanked City Manager Martinez and staff for providing <br />the information in a timely manner. <br />Moved by Mayor Fulp, seconded by Councilmember Bennett, to table <br />this item to March 7, 1995; to request that Councilmembers accept <br />the material as homework for review; and that staff review the <br />material and be prepared to submit to the Council any proposed <br />changes to the job descriptions. Motion carried by unanimous vote. <br />Councilmember Beltran requested that Item 3. on the Agenda be moved <br />ahead of Item No. 1.
