CITY COUNCIL <br />ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />JUNE 61 1995 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held <br />on the above given date at 5:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of <br />City Hall, 650 North La Cadena Drive, Mayor Fulp presiding. <br />ROLL CALL• <br />Councilmembers present were Hutton, Sandoval, Bennett, Cook, <br />Sanders, Beltran and Mayor Fulp. Also present were City Manager <br />Martinez, City Attorney Biggs and City Clerk Ramos. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Fiscal Year 1995-96 Preliminary Budget <br />Water Utility <br />Mayor Fulp said the Council will begin on Page 65 with Public <br />Works/Water Utility. <br />Moved by Councilmember Hutton, seconded by Councilmember Sandoval, <br />to tentatively approve the Operations and Administration/Technical <br />Services of the budget with the exception of Capital Improvements, <br />Fund 21. <br />City Manager Martinez stated it would be prudent to do a cursory <br />review of the numbers; that staff could respond to questions and <br />that the Council could take another look at the budget on June 20, <br />1995. <br />Mayor Fulp said when comparing Page 66, Salaries of the original <br />packet to the handout just received, there is a $65,000 decrease. <br />He asked for clarification. Councilmember Hutton stated this was <br />due to elimination or reduction of a position(s). Mayor Fulp <br />asked if the $54,109 in salaries included the manpower needed in <br />the department. Member Hutton said it included all of the current <br />remaining staff of the department and that he was not aware of any <br />request from the State requiring additional personnel. Finance <br />Director Vega stated that if additional staffing is required it <br />would be in Wastewater. <br />Motion to tentatively approve carried. <br />Councilmember Bennett abstained. <br />Wastewater Utility <br />1 <br />Mayor Fulp voting "no". <br />JUN 0 6 1995 <br />
