Mayor Fulp responded the Council has adopted <br />resolutions to isolate funds for RDA, CFD and Asset Seizures and at <br />a later date it will do the same to safeguard the enterprise funds. <br />Councilmember Beltran said the Council has worked very diligently <br />to reduce the deficit for fiscal year 1994-95 and as a result, the <br />budget for fiscal year 1995-96 will be balanced with plans to start <br />repayment of the outstanding loans. He said he has been an <br />advocate of the 5 -day work week; however, the majority of the <br />Council has not supported this. Mr. Lopez said he wished the City <br />would go back to a 5 -day work week and that it should even consider <br />a skeleton crew for Saturday and Sunday. <br />Mr. John Aguilar, 1625 Alston Avenue, addressed the Council saying <br />that the boxing program he is involved with is a 7 -day a week <br />program, year round and that they are open to any suggestion that <br />will enable them to use the new Community Center. Mr. Aguilar said <br />the Boxing Club has been sanctioned to hold competition on Sunday, <br />July 9, 1995, and that if the Center is not finished by that date, <br />that perhaps the event could be held outside, somewhere around the <br />Center. <br />Councilmember Beltran stated that the Council will be receiving an <br />update on June 6, 1995, and that events such as this could be <br />scheduled through the Parks and Recreation Director, Mr. Anstine. <br />Mr. Aguilar said he has a previously approved Facility Request Form <br />on file and he just wants it honored. The Council recommended that <br />Mr. Aguilar meet with Mr. Anstine on this matter. <br />Moved by Councilmember Sandoval, seconded by Councilmember Beltran, <br />to carryover Agenda Items 1 through 6 to June 20, 1995. Motion <br />carried by unanimous vote. <br />1. RESOLUTION NO. R-37-951 LAIF for Measure I Funds. <br />2. RESOLUTION NO. R-38-95, Separate Investment Account for Each <br />Enterprise Fund and Resolution Requiring Approval & Documentation <br />of all Internal Borrowing from Enterprise Funds by General Fund. <br />3. Fiscal Year 1995-96 Regional Intergovernmental Agency Dues Not <br />Paid. <br />4. RESOLUTION NO. R-42-95 AND ORDINANCE NO. 0-04-95, Exempting <br />Persons with Very Low Income from Payment of the Utility User Tax. <br />5. RESOLUTION NO. R-43-95 AND ORDINANCE NO. 0-04-95, Rebating to <br />Families with Very Low Income 500 of the Utility User Tax. <br />6. RESOLUTION NO.
