ADJOURNED CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />OCTOBER 10, 1995 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular <br />Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above <br />given date at 5:37 P. M., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor <br />Fulp presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Mayor Fulp led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Sandoval, Cook, Beltran and Mayor Fulp. <br />Also present were City Attorney Biggs, Acting City Manager Harmon, and <br />City Clerk Ramos. Absent were Councilmember Hutton; Councilmember <br />Bennett (at work) and Councilmember Sanders (business travel). <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />Addition to Agenda <br />City Attorney Biggs advised that two matters were brought to her <br />attention wherein an emergency situation existed and there is a need to <br />add these items to this agenda under Closed Session. City Attorney <br />Biggs advised that this action would require two-thirds vote of the City <br />Council to allow that these matters be added and considered: An <br />additional matter of potential litigation and a matter to discuss public <br />employee discipline/dismissal/release. <br />Motion by Mayor Fulp, seconded by Councilmember Sandoval, to find that <br />an emergency situation exists as defined in Government Code Section <br />54956.5, which requires that the City Council add the certain items <br />under Closed Session for its consideration today. Motion carried with <br />Councilmembers Hutton, Bennett and Sanders absent. <br />Hearinq re CSMCS Case No. 94-3-462 <br />Personnel Director Harmon said that San Bernardino Public Employees <br />Representative Holmgren requested a continuance of this matter as he had <br />to undergo emergency dental surgery. The date of October 24, 1995, was <br />the suggested date for rescheduling this hearing. With approval of <br />Council, Mayor Fulp declared the matter continued to October 24, 1995 at <br />the hour of 5:00 P. M. <br />OCT 1 0 1995 <br />
