ADJOURNED CITY COUNCIL MEETING OCTOBER 10, 1995 In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 5:37 P. M., in the Council Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Fulp presiding. FLAG SALUTE: Mayor Fulp led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. ROLL CALL: Councilmembers present were Sandoval, Cook, Beltran and Mayor Fulp. Also present were City Attorney Biggs, Acting City Manager Harmon, and City Clerk Ramos. Absent were Councilmember Hutton; Councilmember Bennett (at work) and Councilmember Sanders (business travel). AGENDA REVIEW: Addition to Agenda City Attorney Biggs advised that two matters were brought to her attention wherein an emergency situation existed and there is a need to add these items to this agenda under Closed Session. City Attorney Biggs advised that this action would require two-thirds vote of the City Council to allow that these matters be added and considered: An additional matter of potential litigation and a matter to discuss public employee discipline/dismissal/release. Motion by Mayor Fulp, seconded by Councilmember Sandoval, to find that an emergency situation exists as defined in Government Code Section 54956.5, which requires that the City Council add the certain items under Closed Session for its consideration today. Motion carried with Councilmembers Hutton, Bennett and Sanders absent. Hearinq re CSMCS Case No. 94-3-462 Personnel Director Harmon said that San Bernardino Public Employees Representative Holmgren requested a continuance of this matter as he had to undergo emergency dental surgery. The date of October 24, 1995, was the suggested date for rescheduling this hearing. With approval of Council, Mayor Fulp declared the matter continued to October 24, 1995 at the hour of 5:00 P. M.
