COUNCIL METING <br />_ <br />Regular Meetin of the City Council of the City of Colton was <br />held on the above given date at 6 -* 30 P. M, 8 1n the Council Chambers <br />of the City Hall as duly noticed, Mayor Fulp presiding. <br />At 6 ** 3 7 P. M., after the Redevelopment Agency's session, Mayor Fulp <br />declared brief recess to 6.-45 P. M. At 6 d 3"7 P. M,, Mayor Fulp <br />declared the meeting convened. <br />INVOCATION: <br />Invocation was offered by Chaplin Manny Orin <br />ROLL CAL,L: <br />o ncilmem ers present were Hutton, <br />Sanders, Beltran, and Mayor Fulp. Also <br />Martinez, City attorney Biggs and City <br />-D REVIEW. <br />Dg gqoru <br />Mayor Fulp rem n e <br />persons are here o <br />and: he encouraged <br />each other. He set <br />Sandoval, Bennett, Cook, <br />present were City Manager <br />Clerk Ramos. <br />the assembly about the rules of decorum. He then read <br />Mayor Fulp acknowledged Councilmember Bennett who called attention <br />to a recent article in The �:n regarding a. highly sensitive and <br />confidential subject In olving an employee and a possible somal <br />harassment charge. She angrily denounced the "leaking" of this <br />matter by fellow Councilmembers, exclaiming the Council had an <br />obligation to protect employees' rights. She found. it <br />reprehensible to use an employee for his/her own agenda. She found <br />this action to be cruel it demeans and devalues the system.. The <br />violator should be put on notice that this action will not b <br />tolerated. <br />.ty Attorney Biggs cautioned about decorum and reminded the Mayor <br />that advancement on the Agenda of the ILa or° & Council Comments <br />section was not approved by Council at this time. Council ember <br />Sanders said it was important that Council follow the agenda.; it <br />should not start the meeting on a negative nate.
