CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />JULY 189 1995 <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was <br />held on the above given dated at 6:3,0 p.m., in the Council Chambers <br />Of City Hall, Mayor Fulp presiding. <br />FLAG SALUTE:• <br />Mayor Fulp led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />INVOCATION; <br />Chaplain Michael McNally offered the invocation. <br />NATIONAL ANT-HEM.- <br />The <br />NTHEM:The National Anthem was sung by City Employee Debbi Perez <br />ROLL -.CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Hutton, Sandoval, Bennett, Cook, <br />Sanders and Mayor Fulp. Also present were City Manager Martinez, <br />City Attorney Biggs and City Clerk Ramos. Councilmember Beltran <br />was absent due to attendance at Economic Business Development <br />Conference representing the City as a member of IVDA. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: <br />Presentations Awards Proc amatons <br />Mayor Fulp acknowledged that School Board Member Dorothy Cooley, <br />Assistant Superintendent Danny Carrasco, Representativeof `Senator <br />Ayala, Mr. Frank Stalworth, and San Bernardino Valley College <br />Assistant Professor Ed McMillian were present in the audience. <br />* Resolution Honorin Friends of Veterans Parks. Councilmember <br />Cook read a Resolution of A <br />pprecaton honoring the Committee for <br />their efforts in the improvement of Veterans Parks and the <br />Community in General. Presentation was made to Cindy Carrion, <br />Chairperson. <br />* Certification of Commendation/Sanitation De artment. Mayor <br />Fulp reported that changes had taken place within the Sanitation <br />Department and that there had been great team effort of the <br />employees and the residents. Mayor Fulp presented Certificates of <br />Appreciation and the Mayor's Eagle plaques to Street Superintendent <br />Randy Rivera, Sanitation Employees Tommy-Castorena, Roy Huggins, <br />and Adriel`Guitron. <br />JUL l 8 1995 <br />
