(14) Contract <br />Approve Request to Renew Contract with All City <br />Management Services, Inc., regarding Crossing Guards. <br />(15) Assessment <br />Approve Annual Assessment for Demolition Expenses. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-76-95. <br />(16) Permit <br />Approval of Dance Permit, ongoing on monthly basis for <br />Agua Mansa Sport Arena, located at 2350 S. Riverside <br />Avenue, as requested by Saul Alarcon. <br />(17) Church Event <br />Approve Request for Assistance for San Salvador Church's <br />Annual Fiesta on August 4 through August 6, 1995, <br />including alley and street closures. <br />(18) Tender of Legal Defense <br />Consider Approval of Tender of Legal Defense in the <br />Matter of Young v. City of Colton for Representation of <br />Councilmember Beltran by the Law Firm of Willis & Kendig. <br />(19) PULLED FOR DISCUSSION. <br />(19A)PULLED FOR DISCUSSION. <br />Moved by Councilmember Sandoval, seconded by Councilmember Hutton, <br />to approve the Consent Calendar with the exception of Item 19A. <br />Councilmember Bennett requested that Consent Items 10 and 11 be <br />pulled for separate vote. Mayor Fulp requested that Consent Items <br />41 5, 6, and 19 be pulled. Councilmember Sandoval did not accept <br />modification to his initial motion based on the need to move the <br />Agenda since the biggest complaint from the public was the time it <br />takes Council to conduct its meetings. <br />City Attorney Biggs read from the AGENDA'S NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC <br />regarding Consent Calendar as follows: All matters listed under <br />CONSENT CALENDAR are considered by the City Council to be routine <br />and will all be enacted by one motion in the form listed below. <br />There will be separate discussion on these items prior to the time <br />the City Council votes on the motion to adopt unless Members of the <br />Council, Staff or the Public request specific items be discussed <br />and/or removed from the CONSENT CALENDAR for separate action. <br />City Attorney Biggs advised should the Council wish to revise the <br />rules or Consent Calendar process, the matter can be agendized for <br />another meeting. <br />Councilmember Sandoval said his concern is that business be <br />expedited and that there are items on tonight's agenda that have <br />4 <br />JUL 18 1995 <br />
