Also recognized for his contribution was <br />Officer Bill Burrows. <br />Mayor Fulp announced that the net proceeds from this event had <br />doubled since their first year. Mayor Fulp also recognized <br />the vision and community involvement of Councilwoman Deirdre <br />Bennett and presented her with a plaque. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />City Attorney Biggs informed that there was an award of bid for <br />South La Cadena Streetlight Project which needed to be added to the <br />present agenda as the bid was opened after the date of meeting was <br />announced. She advised that this action required two-thirds vote <br />of the City Council. <br />Motion and second by Councilmembers Beltran and Hutton to add Item <br />15A, award of bid, to the present agenda, pursuant to Government <br />Code Section 54954.2 (b) (2) , as there is need to take immediate <br />action and the need for action came to the attention of the local <br />agency subsequent to the posting of agenda as specified in <br />Government Code Section 54954.2 (a).
