ADJOURNED CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MARCH 20, 1996 <br />In accordance with notice duly and legally given, an Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Colton was held on the above given date at 6:02 P. M., in the Council <br />Chambers of City Hall, Mayor Fulp presiding. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Councilmembers present were Hutton, Hansen, Bennett, Cook, Sanders, Beltran and Mayor <br />Fulp. Also present were City Attorney Biggs, City Manager Martinez, and Deputy City Clerk <br />Delgado. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />Mayor Fulp clarified that the request for disclosure regarding RFP (sanitation) would be <br />addressed in Special Meeting following this meeting. <br />City Attorney Biggs indicated that one matter for Closed Session arose subsequent to the posting <br />of the agenda and she stated there was a need to take immediate action which required two-thirds <br />vote of City Council. <br />Motion by Mayor Fulp, seconded by Councilmember Bennett, to add a single litigation item to <br />the Closed Session Agenda, pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2(b)(2), as there is a <br />need to take immediate action and the need for action came to the attention of the local agency <br />subsequent to the posting of the agenda, as specified in Government Code Section 54954.2(a). <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />FBI <br />Mr. Charles Jackson, Colton, related discussion with FBI Agent Joe Corolla, about racism and <br />discrimination charges raised by a former mayor and councilmember, and stated there was <br />nothing to report. <br />MAIL <br />As Co -Chairman of Utilities Commission, Mr. Jackson complained that correspondence was <br />received as late as 7 days after receipt. He asked that this be investigated. He suggested a <br />telephone call to Members re meetings would suffice as most have answering machine. He <br />MAR 2 0 1996 <br />
