AGENDA REVIEW: <br />As requested, Item #12 was pulled to be discussed as a Closed Session item as it is a matter <br />of potential litigation; Item #14 was pulled as item resolved; and Item #21 was corrected <br />to read "$4.5 Million." <br />CLOSED SESSION: <br />City Attorney Biggs announced the City Council would meet in Closed Session pursuant to <br />Government Code Section 54956.9(b) to confer with Legal Counsel regarding the following <br />matters of Pending Litigation: <br />Taylor v. City of Colton <br />Barnes v. City of Colton <br />De La Cruz v. City of Colton <br />City Attorney Biggs announced the City Council would meet in Closed Session to confer with <br />its Labor Negotiator, Gracie Fernandez -Harmon, regarding negotiations with International <br />Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 47, Electric Unit; Colton Police Officers <br />Association (CPOA); Police Management; and SBPEA, General and Management/Confidential <br />Units. <br />City Attorney Biggs announced the City Council would meet in Closed Session Pursuant to <br />Government Code Section 54956.9(b) regarding four matters of significant exposure to <br />potential litigation including Agenda Item 12 listed under Mayor and Council Items. <br />City Attorney Biggs announced that Item C was continued to the next Council Meeting. <br />At 6:25 p.m. Mayor Fulp declared the meeting adjourned to Closed Session and at 7:03 p.m. <br />meeting reconvened with all Members present as heretofore. <br />City Attorney Biggs announced that the City Council did meet in Closed Session and declared <br />there was no reportable action taken on the three matters of pending litigation. <br />City Attorney Biggs announced that the City Council did meet in Closed Session and declared <br />there was no reportable action on four matters of significant exposure to potential litigation. <br />On Adams Advertising Billboard Signs, City Attorney Biggs reported that direction was given <br />by Council that the Community Development Director confer with CALTRANS with regard <br />to safety issues concerning the signs on Cooley Drive, specifically relating to the barricades <br />and the intrusion of those barricades into the actual roadway and the affect of traffic. <br />City Attorney Biggs announced that the City Council did meet in Closed Session to confer <br />with Labor Relations Negotiator, Gracie Fernandez -Harmon regarding the negotiations with <br />the various represented bargaining units, however, it was determined that discussion would <br />— be lengthy and, with consensus of City Council, it was decided that the item would be <br />discussed after the regular meeting ended. <br />2 <br />e% <br />
