-^ (7) PULLED FOR DISCUSSION. <br />(8) PULLED FOR DISCUSSION. <br />(9) Bid <br />Award of Bid for Vehicles for the Electric Department to <br />Trans West for the Amount of $62,260.11. <br />(10) Fleming Park <br />Approve Colton First Baptist Church Request for use of <br />Fleming Park on May 11, 1996 for Mother -Daughter <br />Luncheon. <br />(11) Public Utilities <br />Authorize new Site Plan for the Watwood Well Site. <br />Public input to be sought. <br />(12) Public Hearing/Weed Abatement <br />Set Public Hearing for April 16, 1996, Discussion <br />regarding Annual Weed Abatement Program as Administered <br />by the Colton Fire Department. Adopted and approved <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-29-96. <br />(13) PULLED FOR SEPARATE VOTE. <br />Motion by CM Sanders/Cook to accept and approve Consent Calendar, <br />except for Items Nos. 3, 41 5, 71 8 and 13 carried unanimously. <br />Item 7 - Customer Credit Check Reports <br />Mr. John Longfield commented on review process. <br />After discussion, motion/second by Beltran/Sanders to approve the <br />agreement with Equifax Utility Information Services and to accept <br />and adopt Resolution No. R-28-96, with modification to Customer <br />Service Policy to include that such credit reports are to remain <br />confidential carried upon unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-28-96 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA, REVISING <br />CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICY NUMBERS 15 AND 27 <br />TO ESTABLISH A CREDIT REPORTING SYSTEM <br />AND TO INCREASE TURN -ON FEES BY $2 TO PAY <br />FOR SYSTEM COSTS. <br />Item 8 - Westside Electric Facilities Proiect/Sales Tax <br />After discussion, motion/second by Sanders/Cook to accept staff <br />recommendation to increase the EPC contract by $364,603 to include <br />the sales tax on construction material procured for the <br />transmission line, substation and distribution facilities on the <br />westside of Colton. Motion carried with Mayor Fulp voting "No." <br />3 <br />APR 0 2 1996 <br />
