Calendar, except for Items Nos. 4, 9, 12, 14 (Closed Session) and <br />17, carried unanimously. <br />Item 4 and Item 28 - Bid/Paving Projects and RFP Overlay Program <br />Discussion ensued on Items 4 and 28. regarding drainage and <br />infrastructure paving program. <br />Motion/second by Bennett/Hansen to approve award of Contract, in <br />the sum of $217,152.37, to Matich Corporation for Phase 1 Paving <br />Project, which includes paving South La Cadena to the border. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />Item 12 Fireworks Booths <br />Discussion had regarding the equitable sharing of profits and <br />sharing of booths. City Attorney Biggs informed about a revision <br />to Section 2 of the proposed resolution, allowing application for <br />shared licenses. Public comments made by Zorina Hernandez, Heck <br />Thomas, Greg Fite, Betty Deal and John Aguilar. <br />Motion/second by Hutton/Beltran to accept and adopt R-40-96 as <br />amended by the revision to Section Two. Unanimous vote. <br />RESOLUTION NO. R-40-96 - RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON APPROVING ORGANIZATIONS <br />FOR ISSUANCE OF LICENSES TO OPERATE <br />FIREWORKSBOOTHSAND TO SELL FIREWORKS <br />WITHIN THE CITY OF COLTON. <br />RECESS <br />At 8:07 P.
