Approved award of contract for the solids handling study <br />to Black & Veatch in the amount of $36,020.00. <br />(17) Assessments (Demolitions)/County Tax Rolls <br />Adoption of Resolution for annual placement of the <br />payment of assessments (demolitions) on the County Tax <br />Rolls, RESOLUTION NO. R-75-96. <br />(18) CDBG <br />Approved the reprogramming of $11,396 of CDBG funds from <br />the Contingency Account to "Street Improvements - Agua <br />Mansa Road," RESOLUTION NO. R-80-96. <br />Motion by CM Beltran/Hutton to accept and approve Consent Calendar, <br />except for Items Nos. 1, 6 and 12, carried unanimously. <br />Recognition: <br />Mayor Fulp acknowledged the presence of Mr. Don Alvarez, Member of <br />Colton School Board; Mr. Ken Miller from the Department of <br />Transportation for the County of San Bernardino and Mr. Dick <br />Dawson, Executive Vice President for the Chamber of Commerce. <br />CLOSED SESSION• <br />After brief dialogue, motion/second by Mayor Fulp/CM Hansen to <br />proceed to Closed Session for Items A and B passed with CM Beltran <br />and CM Hutton voting "No." <br />City Attorney Biggs announced that City Council would meet in <br />Closed Session to confer with Legal Counsel regarding two matters <br />of pending litigation pursuant to Government Code Section <br />54956.9(b): City of Colton v. Club 215; Young v. City of Colton <br />and Turner v. City of Colton. City Attorney Biggs said the matter <br />of Tennyson v. City of Colton in re Cedarbrook terrace. Inc. would <br />not be discussed. <br />City Attorney Biggs announced that City Council would meet in <br />Closed Session to Confer with Legal Counsel regarding one matter of <br />significant exposure to potential litigation pursuant to Section <br />54956.9(b). <br />City Attorney Biggs anticipated that there would be reportable <br />action following Closed Session, estimated to take more than one <br />hour. <br />At 7:22 P. M., Mayor Fulp adjourned the regular meeting to Closed <br />Session. At 9:20 P.
