ORDINANCE NO. 0-19-96 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />(First Reading) CITY OF COLTON ADDING CHAPTER 10.10 OF THE <br />COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO OFF- <br />SITE PARKING OF NON -MOTORIZED VEHICLES ON <br />CITY STREETS <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />Anthony Haige, Redlands resident, is a coach in the tennis program here in the City of Colton <br />which is recognized by the United States Tennis Association. He stated the cost for a six week <br />program scheduled to begin July 8th to July 14, 1996 at Davis Park. <br />Jean Hart, Colton resident, commented on her 1988 request for a "Signal Ahead" sign, the need <br />for street paving in her neighborhood, and asked if there would be a senior's rate for refuse. <br />Steve Anderson, Colton resident, addressed the following concerns and issues: Public Comment <br />should be before the Consent Calendar; Commended City Council and uniformed police in their <br />work with the RST Youth; Repeal the 6 % Utility Tax; Cuts in the Fire Department; and drafting <br />of an ordinance opposing same sex marriages. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL COMMENTS: <br />At -Large <br />Mayor Fulp made closing statements which covered the following topics: Water/Wastewater <br />Director vacancy; Cuts in the Fire Department; and, Club 215. <br />CLOSED SESSION <br />Without objection from Council, Mayor Fulp announced the Closed Session items would be <br />continued to the next Regular Council Meeting. <br />ADJOURNMENT: <br />At 10:59 p.m. Mayor Fulp declared the Meeting adjourned. <br />(L,9� 6`lo_ <br />CAROLINA P.
