Mayor Fulp presented his Kudo award and pen. <br />* Mayor Fulp recognized Kim Kelley, Neighborhood Services Coordinator, who is leaving <br />the City's employment and presented her with his Kudo award and pen. <br />* Mayor Fulp introduced Kayla Haskell, Little Miss Colton of 1995 and presented the 1996 <br />Little Miss Colton and her court for 1996: Shayleena Botello, Little Miss Colton 1996; <br />Shelby Klopfer, First Runner Up; Jamie Rodriguez, Second Runner Up; Lorena <br />Gutierrez, Third Runner Up; and, Lauren Sanchez, Fourth Runner up. Mayor Fulp <br />presented his Kudo award and pen to each of them. <br />* Taormina Industries. Inc/Colton Disposal - Dave Ault provided an update regarding <br />AB939 compliance and which elements have been met. He also acknowledged Ric <br />Collett, Vice President, Taormina Industries for the excellent job he has accomplished <br />during the transition period of the City of Colton Sanitation services to Colton Disposal <br />services. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />As requested, Items I and 6 were pulled for discussion. <br />At the request of Mayor Fulp, Motion/second by Mayor Fulp/CM Beltran to add as Item 7A to <br />the Agenda, regarding assignment of the lead organization for the Veterans Day and Memorial <br />Day activities, as there is a need to take immediate action and is a late -breaking item, pursuant <br />to Government Code Section 54954.2(b) (2), and the matter arose subsequent to the posting of <br />the Agenda, pursuant to Government Code Section 54954.2(a). Unanimous vote. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />(1) Minutes - Approval of Regular Meeting Minutes of September 3, 1996, as on file in the <br />Office of the City Clerk. Motion/second, by CM Hansen/Mayor Fulp, to approve the <br />Minutes with correction to read "Interstate 215" on page 2, Item 6. Unanimous vote. <br />(2) Warrants - Approved Warrant Register dated 9/3/96, consisting of 8 pages; Warrant <br />Register dated 9/5/96, consisting of 6 pages; Payroll Warrants Register, consisting of 11 <br />pages, as recommended by the Director of Finance. <br />(3) CDBG - Approved the Re -Programming of $5,000 of Community Development Block <br />Grant (CDBG) Funds from the Contingency Account to the "Senior Minor Home Repair <br />Program", RESOLUTION NO. R-101-96. <br />(4) Claims - Denial of Claim Against the City submitted by Monica Silva. <br />0 <br />SEP 17 1956 <br />
