position of Water/Wastewater Director which included the following: the recruitment process; <br />screening process; and local and/or nationwide advertising. <br />1995 Report/AB939 and Semi -Annual Reports for FY 94-95 and FY 95-96 <br />Without objection from Council, Mayor Fulp stated that no further explanation was needed as <br />the information in the Agenda Packet under Item 10 and Dave Ault's presentation was sufficient. <br />Youth Gang Intervention Summer Pro ram <br />Without objection from Council, Mayor Fulp stated that no further explanation was needed as <br />the Agenda Report provided by Neighborhood Services Director Anstine and Memorandum from <br />Executive Director of Los Padrinos Max Alonso was sufficient. <br />Audit for FY 1995/96 by Moreland and Associates <br />Finance Director Vega presented, as requested by Council, a letter from Moreland and <br />Associates which listed dates for completion of the Audit for the City of Colton and the <br />Redevelopment Agency. She responded to questions from Council which included the following: <br />the departments where review had been completed; the need to complete audit before mid -year <br />budget review; and what the current credit standing given the City of Colton. <br />Joint Meeting with Planning Commission <br />With a consensus of the Council, Mayor Fulp announced that Council would meet for a Joint <br />Meeting of the City Council and the Planning Commission on November 12, 1996 at 5:00 p.m. <br />City Water Master Plan <br />Water/Wastewater Administrative Analyst Lorraine June responded to questions from Council <br />regarding the City Water Master Plan which included the following: current status; reasons for <br />delay; meeting state mandates; and approval of Master Plan by the Planning Commission. <br />Without objection from, Mayor Fulp requested a time line for completion of the Water Master <br />Plan for the next Council Meeting. <br />Fred Cordova, Colton resident and Utilities Commissioner, requested that the Master Plan go <br />before the Utilities Commission as they were the first to call for such a plan because of the <br />number of deficiencies with the water and the sewer system in the City of Colton. <br />Loan Payment to Electric Enterprise <br />Finance Director Vega presented, as Council requested, status on the loan payment due June 30, <br />1996, from the General Fund Utility User's Tax to the Electric Enterprise. <br />4 <br />SEP 17 1948 <br />
