SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br />JOINED WITH REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />JUNE 179 1996 <br />A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Colton was held at 5:33 P. M., on the <br />above -given date in the Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 650 North La Cadena Drive, <br />Colton, California, Mayor Fulp presiding. Notice of Special Meeting was given on June 12, <br />1996, in compliance with Government Code Section 54956. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Present were Councilmember John C. Hutton, Councilmember Deirdre H. Bennett, <br />Councilmember Betty L. Cook, Councilmember Don Sanders, Councilmember Abe E. Beltran <br />and Mayor George V. Fulp. Councilmember Floyd Hansen was not present. Also present <br />were City Manager Martinez, City Attorney Biggs and Deputy City Clerk Delgado. <br />Redevelopment Agency Chairman Beltran announced that all RDA Members are present, as <br />previously called and answered, and declared the Redevelopment Agency now in session. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />Due to an emergency that might call him away, RDA Chair/Member Beltran requested that audit <br />reports and budgets be discussed first. <br />CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />Fiscal Year 1994-95 <br />Motion/second by Members Cook/Hutton to approve RDA's Fiscal Year 1994-96 audit. <br />Discussion ensued regarding statement of deficiencies, corrections and chronology of loans, i.e., <br />Wal-Mart transactions, and transfers. At CM Sanders' request, Economic Development Director <br />Gabriel offered to provide a report on the status of agreements in place, on a regular basis. <br />Motion carried with Member Bennett and Member/Mayor Fulp voting "No," with Member <br />Hansen absent. <br />Motion/second by Members Sanders/Cook to approve RDA Budget for FY 1996-97. Motion <br />carried with Member Fulp voting "No," and Member Hansen absent. <br />RDA Chairman Beltran declared RDA business concluded. <br />JUN j 7 1996 <br />
