Interim City Attomey Carvalho announced that City Council would meet in Closed Session, pursuant to Govemment Code §54957, regarding Public Employment: City Manager. Interim City Attomey Carvalho announced that City Council would meet in Closed Session to discuss a matter of pending litigation, known as PCL Civil Constructors, Inc. vs. Santa Ana Waterbed Proiect Authority. City Attomey Carvalho stated that the City Council would take formal action in Closed Session to add the item which was omitted due to clerical error. It was posted in the agenda of November 18, 1997. Interim City Attorney Carvalho announced that City Council would meet jointly with Redevelopment Agency to discuss Items G3 and G4, from the Agency Board Agenda, which previously announced and identified as follows: G, CLOSED SESSION 3. Conference with Real Property Negotiator, pursuant to Govemment Code §54946.8: Discussion with Negotiator Richard Powers, Interim Economic Development Director, regarding negotiations in the matter of the properties at 510 North La Cadena Drive, Colton, California, 92324. 4. Confer on a matter of potential litigation, pursuant to Govemment Code Section §54956(b). 1� PUBLIC COMMENT: Ms. Jean Hart commented on the City Manager selection and the right to vote on the recent recall election. At 7:45 P. M., Mayor Gaytan recessed the meeting to Closed Session. At 8:30 P. M., the general meeting was reconvened with all Members present as heretofore. Interim City Attorney Carvalho declared there was no reportable action taken on Redevelopment Agency items, previously announced as G3 and G4, and as to Item A of the City Council Closed Session. Interim City Attorney Carvalho declared there was reportable action with regard to City Council Closed Session Item B: The City Council, by 5 (aye) -O (Nay) and 2 (abstention) vote, reaffirmed approval of the City Manager's contract, as discussed on December 1, 1997. Interim City Attorney Carvalho declared there was reportable action also taken with regard to adding an item under Government Code §54956.8, to discuss real property negotiations at 2111 West Valley Boulevard, which had been a matter of previous Closed Session discussions and she indicated that there was no reportable action on that item.
