ORDINANCE NO. 0-14-97 - AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON AMENDING SECTTON 10.04.130 <br />OF THE COLTON MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO <br />SPEED LIMITS ON CITY STREETS (FIRST READING) <br />Departmental Poligy Promoting City Business <br />Mayor Gaytan said this was a "meet and confer" item which would return later in January. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT: <br />Water Line <br />Colton residents Ernie and Kathy Jaramillo spoke about the remodeling project which resulted in <br />the discovery of an abandoned water line. The matter was referred to the City Attorney and staff. <br />Miscellan <br />Colton resident John Longfield commented on the Christmas parade and suggested videotaping <br />and playing it on Channel 3. He submitted pictures of potholes and attempted repairs, near Reche <br />Canyon Elementary School. <br />Colton resident Steve Anderson commented on motorcycle riding in Reche Canyon/Prado Lane; <br />City web site; police commission; fire commission; Fire Department co-iriingled with Code <br />Enforcement-, and, Al Steward litigation. <br />Travel <br />Colton resident Jean Hart briefly commented on the "travel" item. <br />AGENDA REVIEW: <br />Agenda Items Nos. 12 and 22 were pulled for the first meeting in January. Item 4 was pulled for <br />discussion and separate vote. Item No. 13, specifically Resolution No. R- 128-97, was corrected to <br />reflect that the total of the notes was $6.75 million. <br />Motion by CM Sanders, seconded by CM Chastain, to approve the Consent Calendar <br />including Item 13 as corrected, except for Items Nos. 4 and 12, carried unanimously. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />(4) Minutes - PULLED FOR SEPARATE VOTE: Approval of Minutes for the Special <br />Council Meeting held December 1, 1997, and Special Council Meeting held June 19, 1997, <br />on file in the Office of the City Clerk. <br />City Council Minutes December 16, 1997 3 <br />
