M., Mayor Gaytan returned to his place on dais. <br />Agenda Review: <br />Motion/second by CM Cook/Sanders to accept and approve the agenda except for Agenda <br />Items Nos. 2, 9, 16 and 19 which were pulled for separate vote. Motion carried with CM <br />Bennett absent. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />(1) Minutes - Approved the Minutes of the Adjourned Regular Meeting held June 30, 1997, <br />on file in the Office of the City Clerk. <br />(2) Warrants - PULLED FOR SEPARATE VOTE: Approved Warrant Register dated <br />June 17, 1997, consisting of Five Pages; Warrant Register dated June 30, 1997, consisting <br />of Six Pages; Warrant Register dated July 7, 1997, consisting of Five Pages; Payroll <br />Warrant Register dated June 24, 1997, consisting of One Page; and, Payroll Warrant <br />Register dated June 30, 1997, consisting of 10 Pages, as recommended by the Director of <br />Finance. Motion/second by CM Sandoval/Hutton to approve the warrants lists carried <br />with CM Chastain abstaining on the basis of conflict of interest. CM Bennett was absent. <br />(3) Personnel - Ratified Employee Appointment to the Full -Time Position of Police Officer <br />Trainee in the Police Department. <br />(4) Personnel - Ratified Employee Appointment to the Part -Time Position of Recreation <br />Leader I in the Neighborhood Services Department. <br />(5) Personnel - Approved Job Description and fixed Salary Range for the Full -Time Position of <br />Personnel Clerk in the Personnel Department, RESOLUTIONNO. R-71-97. <br />(6) Personnel - Approved Job Description for the Full -Time Position of Legal <br />Assistant/Contract Administrator in the City Attorney's Office. <br />(7) Personnel - Approved Revision to Job Description for the Full -Time Position of Personnel <br />Analyst 1/1I in the Personnel Department. <br />(8) Contract - Awarded Sludge Hauling Contract to PIMA GRO in the Amount of <br />$14.85/Ton. <br />JUL 15 1997 <br />City Council Minutes July 15, 1997 4 <br />
