City Attorney Biggs announced that the City Council. would meet in Closed Session pursuant <br />to Government Code Section 54956.0(b) to confer with .Legal Counsel regarding three <br />natters of potential exposure to litigation. <br />City Attorney Biggs announced that. the City Council would meet in Closed Session. pursuant <br />to Government Code Section 54957 regarding the -following personnel. matter: Performance <br />evaluation, City Attorney. <br />At 6-39 P� W, Mayor Gaytan recessed the meeting to Closed Session.. At 7:53 P. ' �uulov474 Biezv.et ct <br />City Attorney Biggs reported that the City Council did meet in Closed Session, pursuant to <br />Government Code Section 54956,9(b) to confer with legal counsel regarding three matters of <br />potential exposure to litigation and stated that no reportable action was taken. <br />City Attorneyiggs reported that the City Council did meet in Closed Session, pursuant to <br />Government Code Section. 54957, regarding a personnel matter, performance evaluation of <br />the City Attorney and stated that no reportable action was taken. <br />City Attorney Diggs stated that at this time, there had been no discussion with the City's <br />Labor Negotiator regarding Closed Session Iters `'..`r and it was anticipated said discussion <br />would take place, in Closed Session, at the conclusion oftonight's rneetinct <br />Ms, Betty Elliott, from Congressman Bron"s Office,, announced that a federal grant had been <br />awarded to the City of Colton, for the Police Department, in the amount of $36,006.00, <br />Police Chief Lunsford thanked Congressman Brown and Senator Borer for their effort, The <br />funds will be used to hire a civilian analyst, a computer expert, to develop reporting <br />procedures and monitor crime statistics; thus, enabling the department to operate more <br />efficiently; put more officers in. the field and utilize there more efficiently.
