Electric - Competition Transition Charge <br />This is the Time and Place continued to for consideration of the adoption of a resolution <br />approving the competition transition charge as electric utility customer service policy rate <br />scheduled CTC. <br />Having "opened" the public hearing on October 21, 1997, Mayor Gaytan again announced <br />that the meeting was "Open." <br />City Clerk Barrera submitted proof of continuance of the public hearing and announced that <br />no protests or objections were received. <br />Interim City Manager Wood requested continuance of this item to November 12, 1997, at <br />5:00 P. M. <br />Motion/second by CM Cook/Bennett to accept Staff's recommendation carried with CM <br />Sandoval absent. <br />STAFF REPORTS: <br />PERSONNEL DIRECTOR'S REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />PERS 2% at 55) <br />After presentation by Interim City Manager Wood, motion made by Mayor Gaytan, seconded by <br />CM Hutton, to accept and adopt Resolution of Intention and to waive full reading and pass First <br />Reading of Ordinance to Approve the Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS) Contract for <br />Miscellaneous Employees from 2% at Age 60 to 2% at Age 55.
