City Attorney Biggs declared that the City Council did meet in Closed Session, pursuant to G. <br />C. §54957.6, to confer with its Labor Negotiator, Gracie Ferna,ndez Harmon, regarding <br />negotiations with representatives of the Fire, Police Rank & File and Police Management <br />Bargaining Units. She stated that there was no reportable action. <br />City Attorney Biggs declared that the City Council did meet in Closed Session, pursuant to G. <br />C. §54956.9(b), to confer with its Legal Counsel regarding the following matters of pending <br />litigation: Tennyson vs. Cib� of Colton She stated that there was no reportable action taken. <br />City Attorney Biggs declared that the City Council did meet in Closed Session, pursuant to G. <br />C. §S4956.9(b), to confer with its Legal Counsel regarding one matter of significant exposure <br />to potential litigation. She stated there was no reportable action taken. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Accounts PUable Warrant 47917, Dated 5/22/97, $3,200 Total <br />In response to inquiry on the Damaron billing, Finance Director Vega reported that payment <br />to Consultant Damaron was made for straight hourly billing for services rendered, as agreed, <br />and that all other expenses had been reimbursed to the City. <br />Motion/second by CM Chastain/Cook to approve Warrant No. 7917 carried with CM Bennett <br />and Sandoval voting "No." <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS <br />Presentations, Awarc&, Proclamations <br />0 Proclamation read by CM Bennett declaring September 30 - October 6, 1997, Equal Parents <br />Rights. <br />0 Proclamation read by CM Cook declaring October 5-11, 1997, Respiratory Care Week. <br />0 Proclamation read by CM Sanders declaring October 6-10, 1997, California Rideshare Week. <br />0 Proclamation read by CM Chastain declaring October 1997, Child Health Month. <br />Ms. Marty Rodriquez, Field Representative for Senator Ayala was present and Mayor Gaytan <br />expressed appreciation for their assistance to the City. <br />At 7:58 P.
