CITY OF COLTON <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />DECEMBER 15, 1998 <br />Regular Meeting held on the above given date at 6:14 P. M., in the Council Chambers of City <br />Hall, with Mayor Gaytan, presiding after Mayor Pro Tempore Cook opened the meeting and <br />asked for Roll Call. <br />FLAG SALUTE: <br />Pledge of Allegiance led by Police Lieutenant Sullivan. <br />INVOCATION <br />Invocation offered by Chaplain Bob Johnson. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />PR5,5871 <br />CM Donald J. DeLaRosa <br />CM Betty L. Cook <br />CM James B. Grimsby <br />City Attorney Carvalho <br />Mr. Fred Cordova noted the need for an ordinance addressing absentee landlords. Discussion <br />followed regarding the slumlord ordinance expected to be part of the goal setting workshop in <br />January 1999. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS: COMMENTS, INTER -GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY <br />REPORTS, INFORMATION SESSION: <br />District 1 - CM Sanders spoke about the ribbon -cutting ceremony at the Michigan -Mill <br />Development of the Young Homes Project; the County meeting on the 3-5 storm drain; the <br />Christmas Parade.
